getting 250-300g of protein a day for a while now has been the biggest benefit of anything i've done in a long while. it's almost overcoming my horrible sleep

and i thought i liked jerky
Last night I bleached my bathtub to clean it and stuck my hand in the bath water for like 2 seconds to open the drain. Even after a shower and washing my hands idk how many times my left hand still smells like bleach almost 24 hours later
speaking of protein i bought quest protein chips the other night on a whim because hey i need protein and i like chips
let me tell you something, one of the most disgusting things i have ever eaten. tried to force myself to finish the bag (and it’s a small bag) and couldn’t do it, threw it out. i would sooner lick the floors of pandemonium than eat them again
it's weird that people can't be casually transphobic it has to take over their whole personality and politics and world-view
like i can be casually racist i'll mock Cubans for their accent and don't trust Eastern Europeans when drinking and do everything to avoid Chinese tourists but it ain't my everything u know
What always gets me is that I have lived in a society that's acknowledged trans people's existence with a casual amusement for the majority of my life and then in the last 5-10 years it became this hotbed of vitriol and the only thing I can think of that changed is that they started asking to be addressed how they present.
You don't see anyone saying "they couldn't make miss doubtfire today."
Mrs Doubtfire dragged 90s kids through their divorced family childhoods we hardly noticed even Uncle Frank and Aunt Jack the first few viewings
It would have been nice to have a dad that loved me the way Daniel Hillard loved his kids, I imagine.

Mrs Doubtfire is one of those movies that as a kid you hate the ending but as an adult you're like yeeeeeeeaaaaah I totally understand why the judge was like nope
kinda feels similar to the pushback against basic medical precautions since covid. largely a fringe problem in the past, but then as soon as people were told to do things for the pandemic it became their whole identity to reject everything
And it's not even new. - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-Mask_League
Why the fuck do we have plague-lemmings.
my mom popped that one out in the car this summer with me and i about drove us into a lake. now she's still mad that i fuckin clapped her with history about how gay/trans people are still getting literally dragged behind cars and she needs to be nice and not glom on to this conservative "remember when" bullshit. this bitch has queer cousins and family and lives about 750ft from the gayest place in the US (Lafitte in Exile on Bourbon in New Orleans). i explained that people i went to HS with, that she knows, loves and talks about are queer and trans and you'd think the goddamn information would translate (lol) but she still fuckin sucks about it. goddamn i fuckin hate retarded goddamn bigots. now i'm all riled up and its fuckin 8am.
“is butterbean ok” is one of the greatest quotes in cinema
