my face is a gauze pad right now and i have a comedy show and a concert this weekend to endure in a suboptimal state because doc couldn't honor a schedule

i enrolled in a slightly cheaper healthcare plan thinking i prolly wouldn't use it much in 2024 then this happens. swiped the credit card for $4000 yesterday, feeling a little anxious

yep, ginormous sacks of constant inflammation ruined a few years of my life. didn't realize how badly it affected me til like 3 weeks after the second surgery

i know now i have had them for years. i had assumed the occasional blockage and discomfort was the result of the car crash/facial surgeries of yesteryear

then i finally advocated for myself enough to see an ENT this winter and in 5 seconds with his camera stick he was all oh dear god ok no problem i got this

so i found out i had nasal polyps and told friends and fam - me mum chirped up with "oh yeah i had those too, removed in the 80s"... it was a Happy Gilmore "where were you on that one dipshit?" kinda moment. love you mom
