I have never been inside a red lobster or boston market. Is my assumption that they are like a golden corral/cactus willies correct?

They used to have a Boston Market around where I went to college. As I recall it was like OK chicken paired with some fairly decent sides, but you couldn't just get the sides, you had to buy one of their mediocre chickens to go with them.

Golden Corral is a buffet, Red Lobster is table service restaurant. Boston Market has a buffet but they also have regular menu stuff.

rhyis is correct in that anyone could be a longsnapper with enough practice and that it is a penalty to interfere with them in the process of the snap and through the kick

ag is correct that no one would probably want to because you still get pushed into and shoved around incidentally which is why no one just goes out and does it

I wonder if there's a market for a combined arcade and gym.

One membership gets you gym access but also unlimited plays on any of the games. Standard BUMPs/light gun/racer/pinball carts plus the skeeball and hoop games, maybe some consoles with fighting games for daily competitions and monthly tournaments.

Under that model you would definitely have at least one if not more people who would pay for the gym membership and never use it and instead just play unlimited free arcade games

You need a certain amount of density for a retail/social space to work, and even Neutral Ground in NYC couldn't keep it's doors open in the long run. Here in L.A. there are lots of areas that lack nearby arcades, card game, TTRPG, and wargame spaces.

I've put some thought on the matter, and I'd always considered the country club model a possibility for gaming spaces. Membership dues to cover the facilities, have amenities like a library of RPG sourcebooks for members, use bylaws to oust people that can't fuckin' shower, etc.
