iirc it eventually got to the point that summoning Alastor Antlion was an instant trip to jail if Tiamat was currently engaged.
At the dodgers game atm. First time my kids have seen a baseball game (including TV). Pretty sure this experience made them bigger football fans. I’m ok with that. Zzzzzz
I’ve never been a fan of watching baseball. When I was a kid my parents had us do softball for years, and while I sucked at it, I can appreciate the game as an activity. But to watch? Nah. Only bonus to watching as a kid was big league chew bubblegum and hot dogs.rofl

Must reaaaally not like baseball

Guess dude is earning his insane paycheck.
Even though he's not pitching this year he actually is just as a DH, which is pretty wild.
I know so little about the MLB, I didn’t even know they did DH in it until today because of the dude.
I really don’t enjoy the baseballs.
On the reals though I AM glad to take my kids. I really don’t want to be that parent who only has their kids experience the things the parent likes. It allows them to form their own opinions about things. So I don’t say my judgements in front of them.
Funny story, when I subbed in CT ages ago kids would always ask me the “which side are you on” (NY/Boston) question. They would get much more aggressive over baseball teams than NFL teams for w/e reason.
I’d say I was a Mets fan because no one gave two shits about the Mets. Mets items were usually on clearance in store. So that was the easiest way to get a whole, “Aww that’s cute.” Response and not worry about a debate.
Good thing they didn’t ask any follow up questions as I wouldn’t have been able to name a single player, historical fact, stat, etc. about the Mets.
baseball is a fuckin waste of a sport.
Biologists/Chemists are terrible at logistics. Work should require a minor/BA in Business to understand all this SAP bullshit.
I can't hear Cricket without thinking about that scene from Sports Night where they're trying to determine the Athlete of the Century and one of them bursts into the room saying some Indian Cricket player is currently on an unprecedented run and then no one, including him, knows what any of the things they're hearing the player is accomplishing mean.
I have watched about 10 hours of cricket total and I won't lie I have no fucking clue how they score or what's going on.
Still better than snoozeball.
Growing up, my step-dad would take us to the park every other weekend where he would play cricket with his friends. Seeing how heavy the ball was and how fast it goes.. nah fam. Shit seems more dangerous than baseball at least.
