Yesterday was thinking about when can they finally watch Clue.

By age 10, my dad already let me watch Terminator, Robocop, Alien & Aliens, Puppet master, and god knows what else lol. Hell, Spaceballs was my favorite movie at that point.

my sister is 10 years older than me and was in charge of babysitting me and my brother, she would make us watch stuff like nightmare on elm street, friday the 13th, etc when I was like 4

Just had a 1hr 30 minute meeting where the mom was "not convinced" her daughter used AI, despite the fact 1) three different AI tools all said the work was AI, 2) I had version history that showed the story was pasted all at once and and there was no rough draft or outlining process, and 3) the language used comparatively between the works had a significant grade level difference.

I worked a case where a woman lost her job and had her reputation ruined because she sent a message to some other mom that her 15 year old kid was posting Instagram videos of herself vaping and posing basically nude and the daughter told her no, this 50-year old woman who doesn't own a computer created deep fakes of me because I don't like her daughter and the mom, the police, and the DA believed it.

She was STILL found guilty of harassment because she sent the texts. She's suing for defamation now.

I also watched a Child's Play movie before I should have and it was traumatic at the time. Then years later I watched Seed of Chucky and was like alright, this doll is actually pretty funny.
