I am trying (and failing) to combat that language at school. I had one principal once say to me, “Do you think we have a racism problem at our school?” I was like, “Omg absolutely.” Him “It really isn’t that bad it?” Me: dies of a heart attack.

I had to suspend a girl for beating up a kid. Kid tried to claim she did it for no reason (never happens that way). Girl stated he kept saying the n-word in class over and over again and wouldn’t stop when she told him to.

I made sure his mom fully understood that her “perfect kid” did in fact use this word. I had a witness.

After our meeting she enrolled him into another school.

No fucks were given by me.

It’s frustrating because I can only do so much. I haven’t experienced what you guys have. But it’s crazy that this (me) white girl from white ass part of ct knows better than some of the shit even teachers don’t understand.

Like fuck, a girl’s wearing a wrap and you’re upset it’s a head covering indoors? Did you bother to ask her if she’s getting new extensions or something?

Teachers get so pissed when I send the kid back and say, “She can’t get it done until Sat. She excused.” Like is it fing that serious to you? Can they not divide fractions with it on?
