My white whale is an Indian movie in which a snake turns into a woman, spits poison into a dudes drink, then turns into a giant cobra in the desert which caused the guy she was interested in to flee in terror. Not interested in it for any reason beyond wanting to understand what the fuck that movie I watched as a 4 year old was.

I think I'm around 120 pages away from the end if my novel and it's dawning on me how much work is left to do. This is going to end up a 500+ page outline more than an actual book. There are so many things that get mentioned and then barely built upon because I'm trying to work my way to the ending. And that's in addition to the things that just aren't good and are still in there because I just needed something to fill space while I got to the next scene.

If I finish on time it'll be 6 months spent digging out raw ore that I'll then have to refine.
