French director writes a script in Spanish despite not speaking Spanish, offends all of Mexico, writes a song called penis to vagina, offends all trans people, casts Selena Gomez in a lead not realizing she can't speak a word of Spanish, says fuck it she'll wing it, lead trans actor turns out to be the most racist person alive, Academy declares it the goatt while Letterboxed crowd thinks it's worse than fascism.

I have been considering my next move with my book and I'm going to keep trying to finish BUT while I wrestle with this ending would anyone like to read the first part (~120 pages or so) and give their feedback, as my course of action right now after finishing the draft is expanding that portion to be its own novel.

some won't respond
some won't respond with anything useful
some will respond with something completely wrong

I beta read his book, gave him this much response a month and a half later

he asked some follow up questions, and I anxiety flaked out and never responded further. (Sorry Souj)

And I know a few other published authors, and for beta reads that outcome falls into [Success: Moderate]

Does that have a specific name? The most I can come up with is I remember reading opinions that opened with something like "Affirming in part, reversing in part."

Yeah I know that's how the court introduces it, but I felt like there was a shorthand for how to refer to cases like that... or at least I thought there was.

I don't know if there's an official name but I know exactly what you're talking about, my Constitutional Law professor brought that up all the time. He did use a word for it, too.
