been a while since I played, but my opinion based on what I remember was

clive lives, his brother died, Clive said he was going to write the history of the world to the old guy before the final events, he writes it and “dedicated” the novel to his brother by saying he wrote it

The ending to 16 is left a bit open to interpretation but I took it how mert says

It's fine on a TV when you give your eyes time to adjust. Obviously not recommended over 60fps, but the game is optimized like ass. Or get a PS5 lol

Joshua is revived and writes the book, Clive dies from the curse aftermath of casting the spell to revive Joshua and end the blight. Clive dies when the Red star of Metia goes out, then Jill starts crying.

FFVII beating out Remake makes sense because of whisper bullshit, but Rebirth outclasses the original completely segment for segment. FFT and FFVI are clearly underranked.

FFX gets overranked constantly imo. My biggest problem is that it suffers from the same "hallway syndrome" that people criticize XIII for.

I put it on before going to bed and usually make it 25~ minutes in before I fall asleep. I just watch it over the course of several days lol

i've also never quite gotten why X gets thaaaaaatttt much love. it's a fine game, blitzball fucks, character building was great, but never saw a great argument over it for the widely accepted classics of VII, Tactics, IX, XI.

also ya i found Rebirth far farrrrrrrrrr better than Remake, wouldn't have Remake in the top 10 tbh.

I think X gets a big nostalgia boost because at the time it came out it was a massive leap in presentation quality.

Also the opening cinematic was absolute fire and an amazing intro to the PS2 generation of RPGs
