uh, there's a million studies that prove that education directly increases intelligence... to have a basic entry level education geographical wealth is required, and to take your education further individual wealth is required

If the kids fuck around in school, sure.
If you take two kids raised the same way, both equally dedicated to their education but you send one to a private sector school and send the other to public education school...whos gonna come out on top?

It depends entirely on the schools?

Private schools have even more incentive to get the kids to succeed, but also their parents are more likely to be active in their kids education. But that same parent in a better public school will have even better outcomes.

Private school isn't a set it and forget it thing, it's just that usually if you're paying money to educate your kid than chances are you're going to be involved in teaching your kid and parents that are involved in their kids education see wildly better results than parents that don't.

My ex is a tutor for an expensive college prep company and she often complained that her job was to get spoiled rich kids into college because their parents could pay for her and poor parents couldn't.

Raw intellectual capability is innate and fixed. My point was merely that day is mistaking my elitism as economic elitism, which is false.

It's not that I don't think poor people shouldn't get to vote. It's that I don't think dumb people should.
