My girlfriend makes me go to this Howl-o-Scream thing at Busch Gardens every year and while I appreciate the effort that goes into these haunted houses they set up, there's only so many times you can walk down a straight line while people jump out and try to scare you.

How's this for a scare..

Rural two lane road. No street lights. Pitch black. You have about a tenth of a second to hit the brakes if there is anything in your path. Suddenly your headlights light up a person right on the side of the road. Standing completely still with a blank look on their face. They don't even flinch as you pass by.

This was a couple hours ago less than half a mile from my house.
