My first name is five syllables. Americans couldn't deal with it. The diminutive is two syllables. Americans still had trouble. So I started going by a single syllable that matches an ultra generic diminutive of a completely different Anglo-Saxon-Norman name. One that is pronounced the same way.

So recently I have been shopping for jeans. I always buy Levi's or Lee. Last time it was Lee. At first they felt ok but they haven't worn well. They got too tight in the hips and the upper thighs. (I'm very skinny and always buy regular straight leg) I don't know if they were just made wrong in the first place or have just shrunk over time. I am looking at Levi's again because they have a lot of fit options. I remember the last pairs of Levis I had were iffy. I had a couple good pairs and a couple bad ones. Really bad. They were paper thin and got frayed and torn really easily.

I have been doing a deep dive into jean quality and the best place to buy them. I know that clothes are made in different places and craftsmanship can vary. Anyway, I found out Levi's has a whole tier system of quality and they do that on purpose. Cheap crap sold at Walmart or Costco. Better stuff from Macy's or certain other department stores. And then their ultra premium jeans. You can tell buy the labels and tags. You can only get them at their official stores or online.

Ok so here's the point. Jeans prices are always out of sight but god almighty!

Go out and do things. Stop living for the weekend and trying to cram your freedom into 2 days. You were smart and ain't got no kids. Go live life, money comes and goes but you're only young, hot and healthy once. It's harder for depression to hit a moving target.

Blame Trump and the tariffs also inflation. Most of those are made overseas it looks like.

Levi's quality is pretty fucking garbage, at those prices, go with the boutique brands that actually give you goated denim. You could aim for quality selvedge type shit or slide into a uniqlo depending on your budget.

Excellent advice

Join clubs, rec league sports, DnD/wine tasting/whatever you're into. Having an event coming up Weds evening makes Mon-Weds much more bearable.
