I highly doubt even on Levi's top end 400 dollar pair jeans, they are spending 200 bucks on labor and materials. Maybe 50-75 tops for the highest end ones. Those mid and cheap brand ones though, maybe cost them 10 bucks a pair tops to make and ship.

Top craftsmanship earning a livable wage is pretty much equal in cost to quality materials, if not more. Even on the low end for $400 jeans, I'd wager it's $150+ in costs. Don't forget shipping, storing, marketing, all of this counts as a cost too. You don't just get to buy the materials in a certain shape, you're paying for the -business- and it's -profits-. Sorry not sorry, that's capitalism babeh

Wife and I had a dnd/board games night with 2 other couples on Tuesday nights. It was basically an excuse for a small dinner party. One member of each couple would be responsible for meals every six weeks. Everyone would bring new craft beers, shit they like or bottles of wine. We'd play dnd, board games or just hang out for a few hours then stumble home. The goal wasn't to get shit faced obviously, but to leave in a very good mood. Sunday roasts, bbqs and picnics fill out the rest.

I know a guy that did it a decade ago. It's generally low maintenance, but there are bursts of work.

Main thing I remember, is if you decide to get a comb foundation, you want to go with smaller cell sizes. Larger ones may get better honey yields, but create an environment that make it easier for varroa mites to infest a hive.
