six seeeeeeeven
I think Crusher would tell Kai Winn to fuck off before the plane lands so that would be entertaining at least
1. Wesley is fine actually and Voyager Seven is more likely to be annoying.
2. Uhura is fine, but that Gorn is not gonna let me go to the bathroom.
3. The idea of preventing Wynn from going to the toilet is amazing. But the guys behind you won't shut up.
4. No thanks. Neelix with Duras behind.
5. These motherfuckers are fine on their own, but near each other they are fucking insufferable with you in the middle, though I bet Bashir would gladly swap seats with you, and you'd at least have a good laugh if you sat in his seat.
6. This is a good fucking time, you're leaving that flight drunk as shit. They'll give you their number, but don't call them.
7 and 8, nobody talking, but the assholes in front won't shut up.
Now, if you were sitting next to Spock and Picard, you'd hear some fascinating conversation.
He’s got an amazing singing voice
What is the in-universe lore reason in Star Trek for needing a transporter room or pad? We’ve seen many times they have the ability to lock on to comm badges (or even those without them, really) to beam from any point to any point—the bridge, sick bay, cargo rooms, the brig, etc. Very talented officers like Scotty and O’Brien have been able to even beam hundreds of people at a time.
Man, if I was in the world of Star Trek and I wanted to be a terrorist I’d just study to be a transporter tech. Just imagine being able to transport hundreds of people at a time to anywhere you want, like into a rock wall or into space. Weird how it hasn’t been done yet, to my knowledge.
Same reason we don't drive two doors down. It's actually just wasteful. Notice nobody uses site to site transporters on the ship for the most part. The reason for a pad is the same reason we have loading docks, driveways etc. It is a staging ground that is purpose built and controlled to reduces risk.
I reckon if you were trying to teleport people into rocks some guardrails would start flashing and throwing up warnings. You'd be able to override probably.
They cover that in an episode of Enterprise when they were first testing transporter technology and it didn't have safeguards installed. Guy got a bunch of leaves and sticks embedded inside his body since the system just picked up everything
Yeah right? Imagine new technology having issues. Anyway, it's a whole ass room for safety, and food and drink is technically banned in there.
Same reason why any room is designed with a purpose in a world where hardlight holograms and matter replicators exist. 10 Forward could exist in the docking bay for all they care

Related, man does Starfleet Academy suck. It's picking up right where Discovery left off by just being pure ass.
I thought discovery was perfectly fine, I haven't watched SFA yet. I usually wait until seasons end to watch them all.
Season 2 of Picard becoming a bit too prophetic for my liking
