ME2 is prolly the best game Bioware ever made besides BG2. it's a perfect Seven Samurai space opera that dejanked 1's gameplay for fast-paced bullets and biotics shootouts.

I own the ME trilogy from a Steam sale and only played 1 a little. Never got sucked in. DAO was a good game, but I somehow made it to a zone in a mountain/snow area where everything was like 30 levels higher than me, couldn't get back out of the area, and would have to restart.

Only Baldurs Gate game I played was the one on PS2 that was a top down coop like Diablo. Which was that? Dark Alliance or something?

Anyway, would recommend DAO despite my need to restart.

I am 0-for-all. The Mass Effect trilogy has been in the queue for a decade now, and similarly I have a Dragon Age game I've never played.

I wanna get the ME remaster but I’ve played 2 & 3 I don’t know how many times, got full achievements on both, I honestly don’t know what else this remaster can offer me UNLESS they *significantly* improve ME1 somehow because it has aged worse than Kelly McGinnis

ME2 is my least favorite. Zero sense of urgency until crew gets kidnapped, absolutely deleted all the RPG elements I cared about (instead of reworking) to make a full on TPS.
