She went there to kill the people responsible for murdering her dad, and she did. Would she have declined if she knew one became pregnant? At that point in the story I remain unconvinced. Iirc she kinda turned on her revenge tour after that point

Ellie is one of my favorite chars in vidya and she both was on demon time (torturing a dying Nora is prolly worse than anything else she did) and horrified what her vengeance led her to re unknowingly killing a preggo. and after that she was ready to hang it all up and try for a life.

then ofc Tommy's guilt-tripping gimp-ass came calling and her PTSD went firing and she went the other way (knife to Lev's throat full heel again), until she remembered she forgave Joel and so finally she forgave herself for distancing herself from him/not saving him. beautiful arc ngl.
