Some people are more dominant handed than others. I avoid using my right whenever possible. I even have left-handed scissors and an electric can opener lol.

But we’ve also been forced to adapt to a right-handed world, so even the most left of lefties have to adapt.


Holy shit, btw, using power tools as a leftie just sucks balls btw.

I redid the floor in our living room from carpet to vinyl plank flooring. To use my miter saw properly I have to bend all away around it so I can see my line marks and make straight cuts.


Shit was annoying as fuck.

I am going to get a couple of huggable but just haven’t figured out the layout yet to know what sizes I want.

It’s hard to see in the photos, but the living room is awkwardly long so I kinda “split” it into two areas using the couch pieces. But I change it every few days because I’m never satisfied. Lolol

After years of living with both, fuck carpet to hell.
Bare floor is easier to clean, and if you're scared of the cold, keep slippers or socks by your bed, wear 'em around the house..

Rugs, always rugs. Get some nice hardwood and rugs, lots of rugs. If you have pets, maybe not wooden floors, but you have more reasons to use rugs.

Was hoping our complex would get us off carpet like all the other renovated apartments in our complex (we've been here so long, we are one of maybe 1-5 apartments out of 60+ without a dishwasher and vinyl/wood floor) but nope.

They felt it would be faster and not having to relocate us temporarily to have a new carpet installed.

Much better than the old which was pushing 15+ years, but yeah...
