As a recovering fat man I can tell you that you can indeed go a few days without really feeling hungry as long as you are staying hydrated and keeping up your electrolytes. The body will go after the fat reserves. But unfortunately it takes your muscles first before it gets to the fat.
I went from 190 to 135 before I stopped my pills.
Managed to maintain it for 6 months. Went back on them to lose another ten but I be struggling. They aren’t as effective for me anymore I guess. But I’ll see until I run out and then stop.
The worst part about the pills is the insomnia.
Ksan you're down to 135?! That's incredible!

That really is amazing. My wife has been trying to drop down to 135 from the 150ish since our baby girl was born 18 months ago.
An Army unit is offering a four day pass to play the new grand theft auto as a reenlistment bonus lmao
Give that Reenlistment NCO all the top marks on his evaluation.
Article I saw earlier said "20, so far"
Four days for a two year re-up…I guess if you were going to re-up regardless, fine, buuuuut…I hope someone sat down and had a serious conversation with these guys about trading off four days for an extra two years…
Thanks! I want to be 125 because I am considered overweight if I am 137, so I want a buffer.
Metformin and Phentermine. They are both hunger suppressants. Which is what I definitely needed. I did it slow enough so it seems like my body got used to eating real portion sizes, and I’ve been able to keep the weight off for about 6 months even though I am struggling to lose more without them.
I will warn you, in the beginning the side effects were wild. Like my bottom lip would twitch and stuff. But for me that lasted about two weeks. The insomnia stays though while taking the pills. I get about 4-5 hours a sleep a night which isn’t bad but typically I would do 7-8, and I definitely feel tired without being able to sleep.
But yeah I know some people will give up right away what’s they get the side effects, but it’s worth it to stick it out for a bit to see if they subside.
Thanks!
Baby weight sure is rough to get rid off. I was a fatty before kids, but I was about 150ish before them, and gained the rest after them.
Now I have (want) to wear a body shaper cause I got flabs everywhere and it bothers me. Some of my skin shrank, but I am still squishy.
I take metformin but it's for diabetes since I live a sedentary lifestyle and don't exercise enough. I never noticed any appetite suppression from it, but I also don't get insomnia.
P F Chang's added some new menu items. At least I think they are. The app got updated so I checked it out. They look tasty. Might be worth going a little farther when I drive to Costco.
I saw some gameplay for a new Chinese Soulsbourne and as fun as it looked, I'm disappointed in the constant default to boss fights being in open circular arenas. I want battles that make the player utilize their environment.
