“The way I see it Tony he must’ve known the gun was empty. Look what he pumped into your car.”
It’s a throwaway line but it showed Paulie trying to save Chrissy from Tony killing him. Even without the Pine Barrens episode I always loved their relationship. It’s probably the only genuine “friendship” in the show besides Tony and Artie.
it sucks that the country has turned to shit and will likely be that way for decades but the Trump administration has pumped up the meme quote economy for decades
It's pretty terrible living through the rapid enshittification of everything.
yeah but the memes, milk. the memes.
Jenny has to be one of the most misunderstood characters in cinema history. It’s annoying whenever I hear her get characterized as a gold digger. She never wanted Forrest’s money.
She was terrified to even hurt the simple man. We’re talking about a woman who was sexually abused and taken advantage of her whole life. Forrest was the one individual who was genuinely good to her and she felt she would ruin that just by being in his proximity.
She only ultimately sought him out because she was dying and knew he was a good man who would wholeheartedly take care of their son.
Thanks for coming to my morning coffee thoughts.
Having said that, Skyler is still a bitch. RIP RJ Mitte
Jenny did one thing wrong, she kept Forrest and Forrest Junior apart, even if for a little bit. She clearly wanted to sort her shit out, and she could have done that without depriving the kid and father of each other. While the saying is "hurt people hurt people," her abuse is not an excuse for whatever good or bad she did. No, she wasn't a gold digger though anyone that thinks that is a dumbass. She knew she was dying when invited Forrest, and she was going to put the past right, there was no better time in the future. She asked him to marry her after she told him she was dying.
She did smoke while pregnant that one time.
But other then that.

"Is he smart?" just absolutely wrecks me every fucking time.
The selective Skylar hate felt very manufactured to me because I hated pretty much everyone on that show except for the actor who just died
There is a main character in the show and we stan him no matter what. Those episodes where Skylar wasn't on Team Walt are episodes where she FUCKED UP

I didn't like her later in the show either. She was a hypocrite. Even before she found out Walt was involved in she helped her boss cook the books at her job. And what does she do when he admits it to her? Go to the police? At least take her son and newborn baby out of a very dangerous situation? Nope! She helps him launder the damn money!
I can't have this conversashin again
