I absolutely love my current school, but they embrace AI like no tomorrow and it makes me want to cry.
It's so stupid, but I am starting up my daughter's social media accounts (I'm gonna manage until she's 18) to try and get her going with her artwork because it's her passion and I don't say it to say it, she is legit amazing at it and has been diligent about it since she was like 4 (she's 14). But I see the writing on the wall that no matter how good she is, she won't be able to make a career out of it unless we get laws to crack down on it (lol never gonna happen).
So my thought is maybe she can at least have it as a side gig so she can still use her passion even if it doesn't end up being her main job.
Dunno what the fuck she's gonna do. When I say passion, I legit mean passion. As in, if she can get into Cal Arts, we are fucking sending her there even if we have to sell our house to afford it. I don't think she's ever thought of doing anything else.
Maybe art teacher. ;_;
I am led to believe most arts degrees get packaged with some sort of Business BA. And going based on reading UC Santa Cruz's business BA (was researching for my niece. Sad she withdrew her admission) has students learning Python. Which tracks considering how much general coding knowledge is applicable for parsing data.

Company artificially limits your ceiling on those evals, you should artificially pump it up.
AI gonna replace coders.
Seriously.
I already use it to code my spreadsheets for automation for me. It's extremely efficient. Probably it's biggest strength since it just needs to know the coding language.
Husband is already seeing mass layoffs in the gaming industry because one coder can do the work of 10 if they use it to assist them.
I had it write several plugins for my DAW as well as constructing a scribe prompt.
AI has been amazing at generating question banks as an elementary school teacher. It'll format it in a way that our online classwork system can take it and generate a quiz that'll grade itself. It'll also make guided notes so my lower students spend less time struggling to write and keep up and spend more time with the actual content. Huge huge huge time saver and I've already noticed gains in scores from it. 10/10 would use it in very specific cases.

regardless of feelings about slop et al, AI is as bad as it will ever be, it is undeniably the future, and we are living through the final holding action against it. it's going to increasingly cannibalize academic and social and creative endeavors as people become less skilled at anything beyond utilizing AI.
Wall-E, idiocracy and all the sci-fi media about automation were supposed to be warning signs and not blueprints. But alas, the idiots embracing it dont realize they're the main ones that will be replaced by it.
really advanced AI porn seems pretty lit from a pure sandbox/imagination perspective but there’s a whole host of ethical dilemmas when it comes to consent especially with public figures and corporations worrying about their IP and of course the people making AI child porn being just a notch next to the real stuff. It’s a dangerous time.
All the IP that ever existed at the fingertips of your brain and some still limit themselves to real people.

Is the middle of Australia really that much worse than places like Nevada and Arizona?
The answer to "is this thing in Australia really worse than - " is usually yes.
ive heard the brothels are ok tho
the thing is it's x20 the size of Arizona's desert, you are a far fuckin cry from any civilization, any gas, any towns, any major roads, any cell networks, if you penetrate into the interior to any appreciable degree. think of the longest stretch of rural Arizona highway with a sign saying no gas for 100 miles but then you see that sign ten times in a row (in kilometers) and also there's no fuckin water anywhere and your cell phone doesn't work.
