I had 4 large trees and 7 small, 4" caliper trees removed from one site for $14k in Westchester, NY and that was my cheapest quote.
Ash trees are especially difficult because when they become damaged by ash borers and woodpeckers they lose stability and have the tendency to "jump" when they're felled. Each tree had to be trimmed of its branches and cut in 6 ft sections to be removed before felling the last 15-20' piece.
Like I said, they were near power lines, my garage, house, or both.
But keep telling me how your 15' pear tree only cost you $150 to remove.
