Raised by jews, got baptized Catholic at 16, I never felt it.

I would look around at church and see people feeling it, and just didn't feel the same. I only go to church on special occasions.

Family was non practicing southern Baptists. Sent me to a Christian pre school. I found all of the stories, even at that young age, highly improbable. By teenage years I was full on atheist but not a dick about it.

I can appreciate religion from a historical perspective and how it shaped the world we live in but see no use for it in the modern world and lament how it is actively holding back the advancement of our species both at home and abroad.

Raised Roman Catholic by a devout Hispanic mother/grandmother/aunt/godmother etc. Did my communion, confirmation, Sunday school. All the typical nonsense.

Stopped giving a shit about it when I moved out and joined the military at 17. Although I did have the occasional bouts of revisiting it while downrange in Iraq and Afghanistan, I then immediately stopped giving a shit again when you constantly see dead/raped kids.

Never got baptised or anything but went to a Roman Catholic school until I finished junior high at 13. Was forced to go to other churches occasionally but never cared for it after I didn't have to go anymore.

More or less agnostic and I tend to treat religion as a means of philosophy because to me it makes more sense to. Also gives me the benefit of picking and choosing what I think are good teachings without having existential dilemmas with myself about what I should believe in.

I honestly think if I ever decided to follow a modern religion, it'd probably be Buddhism because I feel Buddhism encourages you to be real with yourself.

Most of the splits revolve around degrees of
1) Who is in charge and what you can do (Catholic, Orthodox, Lutheran, Anglican/Episcopal[same thing, generally])
2) Esoteric metaphysical points of contention (Anabaptist, Baptist, Methodist, Calvinist)
3) Batshitism (Pentecostals, Adventists, Mormonism)

Went to CCD after school once a week. Roman Catholic schooling thing.

My family in general is/was not religious, but my mom felt the need for me to go to CCD every week from 1st to 8th grade. Once 8th grade hit and we were working towards confirmation, my parents were not happy that I now had to go to church every Sunday to write a report on the Gospel and Homily. My dad especially, because he's not religious in the slightest.

After confirmation, never went back to CCD classes and only went to church for funerals.

Started dating my wife who was raised Methodist and my MiL is a reverend. Had to go to services when we went to visit on major holidays as that's what the family does. I honestly think I would have preferred going to the Methodist services when I was a kid.

Wife is not really religious. She spent most of her childhood in churches and church offices, so much so that they ended up being just another extension of their living space. Especially true since they lived in the parsonage next door to the churches my MiL was reverending.

Wife is flip flopping on whether she wants to have our daughter involved in the church. I gave her free reign on the decision and if she'd like to continue with Methodist or not. I'm going to guess we're not going to be going out of our way, but never know.
