Yeah, nothing but respect to everyone at AEW (as well as the few WWE people that knew like Breeze and Big E) for keeping it hush hush. It seems like Meltzer and Scott Ross Sapp also knew and honored their promise to not leak it. For those who didn't read, Amanda Huber as well as a couple of others were even reading /r/squaredcircle to ensure it didn't leak.

As an aside, Brodie Jr wanted to be Orange Cassidy for Halloween. Amanda initially thought that was silly and that nobody would know who Orange Cassidy was, but one of Brodie's last words were "Go buy him a fucking denim jacket." Amanda hand-painted a Brodie Lee costume for Nolan to wear. They were especially looking forward to this Halloween, since it was going to be Brodie's first one home with the family.

Moxley showed up on Strong to attack KENTA.

If I remember right, Strong is based around the LA Dojo which would be worth noting since I don't think Moxley is/was able to do other televised promotions in the US. I may be wrong though, so it could just be me hoping this is a sign of a NJPW-AEW partnership starting to show.

First night of New Beginning in about an hour. Pretty weak card, but great main event.

3rd match, lmao. Would have been better if it were hair vs. hair and both lost. 4th match is something that could be really good, and might be for a bit but is totally going to devolve into "The new Ospreay is soooo violent!" Shingo winning seems better, but either way could work. My only concern is the idea of Tana being set up to transition the title to one of the Empire geeks at *checks schedule* Castle Attack? I guess that short tour and two Osaka-jo shows are taking the place on the calendar that Honor Rising usually does.

Made in Japan right on his dome. Yikes. That match was mostly excellent besides that and some spots soon after it. But 35+ minutes? They're going to make Tana try to carry The Terrible O Khan for like 27 minutes. This ought to free up Shingo for a deep NJC run at least.
