Looks like the one on the left wasn’t really pushing, but then the cop comes up from behind to push him into him and the cop on the right is just as much of an idiot and directly pushes him. The cop on the left then tries to go help or pick him up but the guy that pushed him stopped him.

Out of curiosity, if the cop on the left did tell the rest of them to fuck off and went to help anyway, would the other cops pull you off? Does it go on your record or something?

I think the real human answer to this is "does it matter even a little bit?"

As for a factual answer. I don't know. If the answer is yes, that's just an even greater condemnation of the entire system.

Local news outlet WIVB reports that police said a man was injured when he tripped and fell. Later, as the video circulated widely online, a WIVB reporter tweeted that Buffalo Police Capt. Jeff Rinaldo said Internal Affairs had immediately opened an investigation at the order of the police commissioner.

State police medics gave the man aid, Rinaldo said, according to the reporter.

Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz tweeted Thursday night that he’d seen the videos in which an “older protesters appears to have been shoved by police” before suffering “a serious head injury.”

“It sickens me,” Poloncarz wrote shortly before 10:30 p.m., saying he’s confirmed the man is at Erie County Medical Center in stable condition

Later in the night, Buffalo Police Department Capt. Jeff Rinaldo said that internal affairs has opened an investigation into the incident, and that the investigation was ordered by the commissioner of police.

Buffalo Police Commissioner Byron Lockwood has ordered both officers involved in the incident suspended immediately without pay.
