I really wanna know how they handle being around other officers and MPs. I've talked about being around COs in the hospital. They absolutely do not take direction at all. Even when it comes to basic low level infection precautions. One dude tried to square up a 130lb nurse because she told him he had to wear a mask while on the Covid floor. That was the last night he got to sit on his ass to watch a patient.

Personally I'd be more terrified of another agency shooting me than the rioters.

Member of my nuclear family is having to do that every night in one of the more violent cities. I'm more nervous than when they've been in foreign countries doing crazy shady shit. At least there's a plan there.

If same cops, PR stunt, if different cops then....it gets fuzzy at that point. I do honestly think some cops are wanting to side with the protestors and just can't due to a variety of reasons. I also think some(most) are doing it for PR reasons and then gassing and beating people afterwards and the media jus covers the "Peaceful kneeling" and nothing else side. There are good cops for sure out there, plenty of them...but the system is built to protect all the fucking horrible ones from not only abusing civil rights but also creating an atmosphere where the good cops feel they can't do shit without major retaliation.

Old guy with a bladed weapon attacks young protesters in the Whitestone neighborhood of Queens.

54-year-old Frank Cavalluzzi hopped out of his car with a four-bladed weapon fixed to his arm.

The videos also show the man accusing the protesters of throwing things.

One witness about the incident, ”kids [were] just calmly protesting by just placing signs and posters, all of the sudden the guy started insulting them and the kids just started talking back defending their beliefs.”

"He literally made a crazy U-turn, parked in front of them and started chasing them with his 4 knife weapon. After that, he got back into his car and GOT ON the sidewalk, stepped on the gas pedal and started chasing those kids with the intent of running them over. Then he just got away,” they continued.

Another video shows the vehicular parts of these claims and the terrified response of the protestors in the area. The SUV makes a U-turn in the video and drives onto the sidewalk. From there, he speeds toward a small group of people gathered in the area.

NYPD says that he faces charges of reckless endangerment, menacing and weapon possession.
