Big lol at people who don't understand that the stores that close down dont always come back. Jobs are lost, and during a pandemic where 40m are unemployed that's a bit of a problem. It happened to me in my grocery job ages ago. Massive theft, store went under, they said "welp too bad youre all out of jobs". No one is worried about the company, they're worried about the rank and file losing their income.

louisville getting real (?)

7 people shot. One critically injured. Police aren't saying who fired (ground accounts say it was the police). Police fired tear gas to disperse a non-violent crowd. Protestors responded by attempting to flip a police vehicle. At that time, shots were fired.

This protest is in response to Louisville police carrying out a no-knock warrant, at the wrong residence, looking for a man they already had in custody, and shooting a black woman asleep in her bed. The boyfriend of the female fired his legally owned gun at the plain clothes officers after calling 911 and stating someone was breaking into his home. He has been charged with attempted murder.

LMPD needs their departments burned to the ground as Minneapolis has.

Apparently CNN had two sets of reporters there near each other. Both were asked the same sets of questions, the white reporter was let go and they arrested the black one and his crew. For no apparent reason. Like, jfc guys how dumb can you be

Honestly the whole shitfest sounds completely like it's down to utter incompetence and stupidity, watched some of the video they even asked the officers to tell them where they'd like to move to and they would comply, complete waste of time and only ends up aggravating the issue. I mean they were on live TV for crying out loud everyone can see whats happening. Really goes to show they NEED to reform policing in many areas in the US and they need alot more cool level headed officers not yuppies with power who ultimately cause more harm than good.

Will say though looking at the damage it's just utterly stupid and disgusting to burn and loot the place the way some of them are going on, it was disgusting what happened to that poor guy being killed by that bent cop but how does destroying your own city do anything but undermine things further.
