Atlanta's problem didn't have to happen. There was a perfectly peaceful protest that lasted about 2 hours as they moved between Centennial Park and the capital building. No issues. Police kept order without a single confrontation and the crowd did nothing to entice the police.

The second the official event ended, a small group that remained in Centennial Park while the main group was at the Capital tried to steal a police officers bike while they were directing traffic around the group near the CNN building and then tried to force open a city/state official's black SUV back door and then shit hit the fan. It was being covered by WSB live on the radio as it happened while they were reporting on the peaceful protest.
