Well, I honestly posted in this section here and there. Then usually when a big event like this pops up, I like to see peoples opinions on it. When I came in here I was completely naive to the fact that a lot of posters on this site are far left. Here we go again. You have your own opinions and that's great, but you aren't open to anyone else's opinions. I agree that the riots are bad and it's not helping the cause. I'm hesitant to blame the riots on the protesters though.

Yeah but my position has not changed. I'm tired of it too, I think all the cops involved in that incident should be charged and there needs to be reform. I never once said the contrary, I am in favor of the peaceful protests and push for change. I think we need reforms and fast and that this is a huge issue that cannot be ignored or swept under. I don't agree with the looting and rioting or demonization of *all* cops (you might have a case for majority, but I said already we need reforms and especially with the Police.)

I hope my opinion is clear to people constantly lashing out with personal attacks, its really being directed at the wrong person unless you like to argue semantics.

Actually that is completely false. Go look at the other thread for an example. I admitted I was not up to date on the legalizing all drug thing, because I never even thought that was something remotely productive. I did some cursory research and decided it was worth looking into, so I retracted what I said and then said I was open to see if it could work. The whole point of a forum is sharing ideas and opinions, some just want this place to become a reddit sub of hivemind thinking, its insane. Any opposition in opinion is immediately dealt with by one liners, trolling and insults. Not trying to Karen, I'm just stating facts. I have had multiple people contact me privately saying they agree with x or y of what I'm saying, but I shouldn't say it because nobody will accept it. It's stupid to think your way or the highway on a damn video game forum.

I never blamed the riots on the protesters, the peaceful protests are just. I am not with an unwavering opinion, I examine facts and apply them to my beliefs and am willing to accept others opinions even if I don't always agree.
