I'm with Draylo on that one kuruno, that went from "well hold on let's talk about this to adults," to "deprecate yourself to my liking before I'll acknowledge you."

What’s crazy, protests have been happening in Hong Kong for the past year. And the Chinese government hasn’t sent in the military in full force.
Meanwhile in America, National Guard is already out after 3 days.

Buddy cop says they have to have helmets, shields, batons in their cars at the ready up in Baltimore
People commenting that it was likely an accident, if he had intended to hurt people intentionally he wouldn't have slowed down. You have to realise that's a BIG vehicle he would've been driving if he just slammed on the breaks on something like that as the sheer mass of it would keep the rig going and it could jackknife and turn over with even worse damage. Looked at the footage as well and IMO that's likely what it was too, poor dude was likely driving full speed on the freeway and by the time he saw the cops and such it was too late for him to slow down in time, if it was a deliberate attempt he would've plowed into them at full speed but he was blasting his horn for at least 15 seconds before hitting the crowd.
Edit: I would also note that protesting on a freaking motorway is incredibly dangerous and stupid it's like protesting on a fecking railway.
Even if it was an accident, everyone has seen the footage of people and police driving into crowds of people. People are angry and scared. Everything changed yesterday when that semi entered the picture. It was a full day of peaceful protest that ended with tragedy and the police firing on protesters. It just takes a moment.
probably should've set up a better barricade
If it really was intentional then there's no excuse but still have to wonder why there wasnt a roadblock or some sort of diversion for traffic at the previous interchange to divert traffic off that section to begin with, it's still nuts though.
I still think it's daft to protest on fecking freeways of all places instead of city hall or somewhere safer.
I kinda agree. Initial highway cam vid made it look like it was very intentional. That fb vid makes me second guess that. Horn was blaring, he came to a stop in the crowd. If he wanted to do damage, he wouldnt have been blaring his horn like that, avoiding the cop cars/avoiding the crowd etc. It could have easily been much worse.
I just dont know on this one though
