So just out of curiosity, why is there no outrage for David? Why aren't all the news crews except a select few, highlighting his death? He was a black life that mattered and I see nobody championing for him.

First it was "looting and rioting is fine and justified because peaceful protests got nowhere, if you're against it, you just care about property damage"

Then it started with the deaths and it becomes

"Nobody said looting was ok, u just imagined it."

Why can't people be angry and upset with more than one issue? You can actually care about the movement and protests, but condemn this violence that is taking countless more lives and creating new victims every day in every sense of the word. I came in saying the violence was wrong and was met with so much opposition even though I stated I was for the protests and reforms. People are just lashing out at anyone who points the violence aspect out and even OBAMA himself condemned the violence and said this is not the way.

Nobody is protesting against looters and rioters and normal people killing other people because they all already get arrested and prosecuted for that shit.

The protests are happening against police right now, because when they team up and murder someone in broad fucking daylight, they are still protected by other cops. We can have video proof of a murder, or police brutality, or any abuse of power, and 99% of them get off with no punishment at all.

David could have kept his life and many others had people came to the consensus that the violence was wrong and we should all condemn it. The peaceful protesters and leaders of the movement should have condemned it so it wouldn't happen as widespread and we could focus on this movement for reform. Instead you have people on here and on social media saying the violence is justified and its necessary to effect change. You had people saying no event in history created change unless it came with violence. It was all over the place and if you're ignoring it now you had blinders on.

Not making it about me at all, I'm actually quite pleased that people have come to the conclusion that the violence was wrong even though they understand the factors that might have caused it. It was a different message than what I first perceived when I got into these discussions.

If you reject the riots and looting, you are on the side of the oppressor.

If you spend your mental energy arguing that "hurr durr looting is bad" instead of the underlying issue of police brutality and systemic racism, congratulations, you care more about property damage than human life.

Because here's the thing. Black people have been "peacefully protesting" for *** DECADES NOW. Colin *** Kaepernick protested on national television and racist chuds like you would say, "me no likely when black sports man speak out!"

Peaceful protest has done NOTHING. And when black citizens are dying on a weekly basis from the *** POLICE, what else is gonna happen? The civil rights movement in the 60's only picked up because of riots and violence. If you haven't studied the history of civil rights your opinion is unwanted. If you want a start, go ahead and read MLK's "Letter from Birmingham Jail."

Target is going to be fine. They will file an insurance claim and get fully reimbursed. George Floyd's life is gone forever. The fact that some of you give more of a ***about Target than you do about the lives of the rioters speaks volumes about your character.

Vandalism and looting gets ***done. If that triggers you, then maybe you should help create a situation where maybe thousands of citizens don't feel like they HAVE to vandalize and loot to get people to notice them.

Not saying rioting and looting is good, but it does get the attention politicians and city leaders. Let's go back to MLK, as you have frequently quoted and 'splained, and the effect of his assassination. There was rioting across the U.S. for nearly two months. After the first 6 days, politicians fast tracked and enacted the Civil Rights Act.

After three days of rioting in Minneapolis, the man who knelt on George Floyd's neck was arrested and charged. The other three officers involved still have yet to be arrested or charged.
