First degree is going to be really hard to convict on since you have to prove intent but maybe some lawyer can finesse it given that we have evidence the man was slowly dying and people telling him he was dying yet he still kept on going with that knowledge.
2nd degree murder, other 3 to be charged.
So police unions are a big reason that policing policy favors the cops so heavily and mayors typically have their hands tied.
Do we need to do some union busting?
that's the sexiest thing you've ever said
Press secretary saying now that frozen water bottles and bricks were being thrown at officers and that’s one of the reasons they pushed back the crowd on Monday. The other still being that AG Barr had asked them to extend the perimeter by a block early in the morning, and it wasn’t done yet when he got there.
"We didn't use tear gas or rubber bullets"
Can't say anything about the rubber bullets but pretty sure we have live video of them using tear gas and flash bangs on the crowd along with pepper spray?
Lol, she just said Trump just told his people he wanted to go to the church and people made it happen. And that he didn’t think about the details.
I am not re-watching that shit rn but it might be factually true that the NG didn't do this and it was other forces. There were 10 law enforcement agencies there.
He straight up condemns Trump using the military so rn I'm willing to give this guy the benefit of the doubt cuz he's fucked either way.
Call me crazy but I think that in a way, the violence and looting is necessary. Living in Hawaii and working from home during the pandemic, it's very easy for someone like me to brush things off and detach myself from almost anything. If only peaceful protests were going on, I guarantee I would be checking the news maybe once a day and that would be it. But to see what is happening in America right now, in my lifetime? It's deeply affecting. I wonder how many people feel similarly.
It sucks that it's happening, but if it were just peaceful protests or if cities all over America weren't showing solidarity, it would be too easy to ignore. People like me need to feel uncomfortable to be spurred into action.
Dude apparently made an account that mirror tweeted everything the president tweets.
Another funny thing is you know that guy was all for the protests until it was in neighborhood? Man I can just see that being me.

10pm to 4am curfew extended in Minneapolis through Friday.
1st Degree would be a nightmare. Typically 1st Degree requires premeditation. You usually see that more if the suspect knows the victim, or if they have proof that the suspect got up that morning and said, you know what, I'm gonna go kill someone today or to that effect.
