The MN statute has been clearly laid out by legal experts and the evidence presented clearly fits the definition of murder 2 by at least 2 different framings of the event. Don't stress yourself trying to understand the nuance between individual state statutes. Even if you stumble into the right case law, it's still a naive and basic interpretation.

This isn't intended to be an insult, just literally a "don't waste your time." There are reasons every state has its own bar exam and you need to pass the bar in a state to practice law in that state. One license does not fit all.

It doesn't matter who started it, you're like a kid on the playground. No death is okay and no violence, many have died and they could have been prevented. David Dorn could still be alive if the riots were condemned from the start. Countless businesses could have been saved and the cause could have been furthered regardless. I still don't even see news stations reporting on Davids death, only very few. Obviously it doesn't fit their agenda to show only the cops that do wrong.

The most imminent issue right now is the riots because people are dying, now, not in the past. It is causing severe chaos and needs to be stopped. No actually, the majority are in favor of the rioting. You even had MLKs family on saying to people they need to stop quoting MLK and saying peaceful protests are better. They did not outright condemn the violence nor did a lot of other leaders of this movement. So if they did it earlier, maybe we could have avoided some of this.
