Yes i do. Change has been happening gradually and protests are different than riots. You can actively lead protests for change and succeed in that change. Riots and looting create more victims filled with anger. Why don't they vote and get the people out of power that are lobbying, we are just upon an election month. I can't fathom how this many people are actively supporting rioting, it honestly fills me with disgust.

Reform that comes from the top down, contact your elected officials and move for change. Contact local precincts, start activism for change within police and reform via social media or social outreach and work on solutions within the community and their leaders. Just a few of the ways, there are countless others.

There is no other way, you aren't abolishing the police because its impossible. If you think rioting is somehow going to force the abolishment of the police or any change, you're an idiot plain and simple. No option is going to be instant, they are all over time.

How long do you expect reform to happen using these tactics that have been in effect already?

Yes. Entire police departments need to be dismantled and rebuilt from the ground up. Any police department that was "trained" with an "us vs them" mentality needs to be entirely redone.
