Damn, you people are passionate about your booby traps
Damn, you people are passionate about your booby traps
And joke’s on them, I barely used traps in both games!
I used a bow that had a big boost to shred damage and I enjoyed sniping parts off the machines for crafting parts. Like some battles dragged on a lot longer than necessary because I kept trying for the parts without killing them. It’s fun but annoying at times.
You draw the line at being creative and subverting expectationsmake most mobs have a check and ability for obviously laid traps that they avoid or trigger at a distance. Bonus points for making the same mobs not notice the trap if the trap is in cover, or if it's in the middle of the fight and is distracted and doesn't notice it
Idk man, they're the game designers. Design something interesting!

Coincidentally, I just went to Meijer and found a few of the tall neck legos on clearance. Weird, considering they’d sold out on release and the dlc just got a date. It was just 15% off, but considering I had tried to buy it at full price…
Just a reminder 1.21 patch for PS5 only is out, and some people are having issues with the preload of the dlc. Burning Shores goes live at midnight.
Anyone gotten around to playing Burning Shores yet? I got the girlfriend addicted to Attack on Titan at the wrong time so haven't found a chance to jump into it yet. I haven't played since launch so Imma have to relearn how to be effective all over again.
I've played for like 2-3 hours, it's your standard expansion. Some new abilities and a few new robots, otherwise more of the same.
Pretty much. More of the same, nothing revolutionary. Haven't completed story yet so maybe there's something more in store but from what I heard I'm not expecting much
New Zenith weapon looks great and the new skills are fun.
Fucking hell. I'm so out of practice, may need to drop to normal difficulty.
Also first quest, mob bugs and goes Perma stealth with no shimmer and refuse to attack so had to fast travel to reset.

Ran into a few bugged out things that required me to reload the game, like the apex stormbird on the far west end of the map.
Managed to get a little bit in last night, I forgot just how smooth this game runs. It's hell remembering all the different weapons and what use they all had.
Random thought I had after diving in though, is this Lance Reddick's final performance or is there anything else in the works he was part of? I dunno if he shows up anywhere else in the DLC or if he hops on the comms, but hearing him again at the start reminded me of his passing.
I will say one thing, I really really appreciate how easy the new weapons are to upgrade. I definitely gave up on upgrading most of the weapons in the base game because of the grind (see : Slitherfang parts)
Yep, they really went overboard with resource management and grind in the base game, it was too much, so this was a nice change of pace
Beat the DLC, nothing super special, it's more of the same so if you like the series you'll enjoy it. It's not super long, but considering the price it's a great deal.
Final boss fight is pretty fucking cool though, and the ending is making the nerds mad.
Spoiler: show
That's why it's getting review bombed. I wondered.
Yup. I mean they must have completely forgot the ending of Forbidden West whenSpoiler: show
