This is going to be the first "numbered" Gran Turismo game since 2013. Trailer looks amazing. Assuming it'll be backed by a car roster similar to GT2 this has the potential to be a great comeback for the series.

Delayed to 2022 for covid related reasons.
I need to hear some loud-ass V8 MUSCLE before my eyebrow even raises an inch. Polyphony has had such a bad record recording engine sounds for anything not built in Japan, and Forza completely won me over over a decade ago with their quality sound design.
Pretty graphics are great and all, but it takes more than pretty models to make a top-tier racing game.
Also, I want a Grid 1 remaster. That game was amazing. A shame about the sequels.
Can’t wait for GT7 really. Wishfully dreaming for a 400+ car roster (like GT2), with older cars, used ones, regular road cars, super cars and all. That’s what makes the game special imo.
Never paid attention to the engine sounds much but a V8 should indeed sound like V8 lol, especially in todays world with sound bars and good sound systems are being standard there is no excuse for poor sound effects.
Codemasters is always good with racing games. I enjoyed Grid:Autosport on Switch alot, Legends due 2022 as well let’s see if the EA sale will have an effect on their overall quality.
Man, the golden age of GT 1, 2 and 3... Such good times. I hope Polyphony can recapture that greatness, but I'm also glad that there are other companies out there that can push them. Only having one big franchise leads to horrible stagnation. *Looks hard at Madden*
Yeahhh, many fond memories of gt2 and 3, and I hope they bring that catalogue of tracks and cars with them especially after all this time that they've been working on this.

I bought the GT4 steering wheel way back in the day. One of these days when I have a house I will want to build a sim racer rig.
Me and my buddies threw in on a nice set up and rotated GT night in with poker night every other week.
We had a whiteboard we used for a leader board, to give it that authentic feel ya know. There was never more than maybe half a second spread from first to 6th week to week.
Seriously some if the most fun I've ever had with a vidya game.

Never have i ever owned a car that is playable in a GT game. Now that my actual 2015 Focus ST with the exact 2015 rims is in the game, i’m going to race the hell out of that car.
This game looks like everything I wantI haven't played a GT since 3...dying for this to come out even if I don't have a proper wheel

I need to hear sounds. I need to hear that a V8 sounds like a V8 and not like a Honda Civic. Until I hear that, I'm still out.
Forza blew the doors off the house to me, and I've never been able to look inside Polyphony's house the same way again.
Hell, Grid 1 has sounded better than the last few GTs.
Aww man only a month to go. Can’t wait browsing the used car market w/ 10k credits for a BMW E46/Nissan Primera/Honda Prelude or whatever I can find and start building my dream garage from there.
Seriously, missed GT so damn much.
New Grid coming out in a couple of weeks. Original one, with lots of Toca Race Driver feeling in it was awesome. Hoping for a return back to its roots. I still have Toca installed on my laptop and playing every now and then.Hell, Grid 1 has sounded better than the last few GTs.
Nothing like Sunday Cup in a Yaris then Clubman in an MX-5 or a Civic.
No PS5. I'll just watch Super GT (aka. fake Alex Albon) on Youtube. If I ever get the space for it, I'll make a cheap driving sim setup and jump into ACC or eventually try iRacing.
I hope so too. Nobody loved Polyphony more than I did back in the GT1/2/3 era, but the world caught up and they kinda just... kept doing their thing (to their detriment).
Grid 1 was amazing. I loved feeling like a proper mercenary while I was starting out, taking odd jobs until I had enough cash and rep to buy my own rides and start my own team. Getting paid by an average club to literally just come in 10th, while watching the better teams just blow past... I'd never felt that in a game before. It was always "WIN OR GAME OVER, LOSER!", and it felt so realistic. Then hiring a teammate and conquering 1st and 2nd in every race to grab all the cash, and then the Ravenwest battles...
That was such a good game. A great mix of racing and narrative direction.
Can't wait to use a formula one car to do an endurance race and win easy money to build the dream Evo
Also I can't wait for the license test tbh lol

GT3 was the last entry I played. It was so much fun especially when you could use a GameShark and pc modded program to engine swap cars. I used to have a garage with an RSX Type S with an F1 engine, slicks, and other mods that would just destroy everything.
You don’t need a gameshark when the mothefucking Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak exists and do the rubber band trick.
