He should have never fallen to the ground. Dude shouldn’t have even been handcuffed, but even the once he was sitting partially in the car this all could have gone differently if they said, “You’ll be all right. Just stay here, we’re calling medical help for you. You don’t have to get in the car. Breathe with me.”

They didn’t because cop training is all about power and because he didn’t follow their orders exactly they didn’t give a shit about his health.

you sound like someone who has never encountered drugged out criminals before. do you actually think he was gonna take some deep breaths and comply with the cops while patiently waiting for EMS? even if EMS gets there earlier - what you think they're gonna do?

Going off the video, the gun isn't in view or drawn till after the officer talks to him. You can even see both of the cop's hands as he is saying "let me see your hands", one empty and one with the baton, then seconds later the gun comes into view.

It’s $20 dollars which at the time was even unknown if the guy gave it knowingly. This isn’t a fucking murder suspect. Stop acting like this was some hardcore criminal.

I don’t care about the drugs in his system because the cops didn’t know what was in his system at the time. What they did know was that he was terrified over getting killed and claustrophobic and having an anxiety attack. THAT should have formed their actions. Not kill him so they can find out later what was in his system.

Why does this matter? Did the police know what was in his system? The amount of force was not proportionate to the alleged misdemeanor

Technically if we're judging whether or not he should be murdered by police by the nature of his crime, Derek Chauvin did about 50,000 George Floyds worth of crime. Maybe he was on drugs during his tax evasion too?

Sorry, yeah I think it was that I remembered the gun running along the passenger window, but it was after the door was opened, but video clearly shows him raising his hands immediately upon seeing the cop, regardless of what the cop says.

Did they pull guns on you? Did they ask if you had guns, drugs, money, etc..? This happened to me because I crossed a solid white line after I exited from the highway. I was in my work clothes too.

We need to stop this idea that once you’ve broken the law, no matter how small, any future actions justify the police killing you.

The only “crime” I’ve ever committed was a parking ticket when I first moved to Covina not knowing you have to buy a pass from the police station in order to leave your car on the street overnight.

they said i ran an invisible stop sign(they later admitted it was not there as said officer made a mistake in the police report) and i spent the night in jail for failing the field sobriety test despite blowing 0s. i was completely sober

it's still on my record despite it being expunged and if you have my name it comes up in google

I didn't know the cops have Sayian Scouter technology that gives them a full biometrics scan of everyone around them so they can determine who has drugs in their system and execute them accordingly.

Damn, white people wouldn't have survived the 80's with all that cocaine going around.

If cops can and should just kill anyone with any drugs in their systems, we might as well just wipe Ohio off the map, along with quite a few other states, both red and blue.
