The "evil far left" examples are almost entirely internet troll identity politics related, and there's no one that actually pushes any related policy in government.

100% this. People becoming more right-winged because of the crazy far left SJWs is ridiculous, because those people are not in power. Just teenagers and idiot yelling on the internet, not one of them are making policies.

IDK trying to be a good person and then deciding "Fuck it, I'll be a dumpster" because of one dude on the internet seems like maybe not the best choice even if its the easier one. Stay true to what you consider to be a moral good regardless of others, or at least try too, trust me I know its hard.
