i tried sifting through twitter comments stupidly to try to figure out what exactly happened. a lot of people are claiming he shot someone then was calling someone to brag (some said he was on phone w 911 stating he shot someone) when they started chasing him down. other people seem to think it wasnt him and they were after the wrong guy and he acted completely in self defense. will be interesting to see what happens here in court because he probably has a self defense case for the 3 people there in that album

Any idea what the laws are there as far as open carry etc?

Luckily there's 8 bazillion cameras everywhere at these things, so here's hoping they get it sorted out properly.

I still don't understand the idea behind carrying a rifle though. You want self defense? Get a concealed permit. Can't get one? That's because you're an idiot and shouldn't own a gun. The mere presence of that shit is instant escalation.
