The guy's literally just saying that society has a bunch of problems and instead of hearing him out you just label him a racist. Maybe that's what wrong with America. A country full of angry people pointing fingers that are all ready to jump the gun (literally).

We deserve all of this.

We can't even have a peaceful conversation/debate anonymously over the internet. How are we supposed to solve our problems in the real world?

It's hard to talk about someone just "owning guns because they want to defend themselves" and "protecting local businesses" when the kid literally went across state lines with an assault rifle to confront people who weren't a threat to him beforehand in a community he wasn't a part of.

You say he is taking responsible actions by calling somebody, but then you admit we don't know who. It could be the cops, it could 911, it could be his parents, it could be other people with assault rifles, it could be a phone sex hotline. There's nothing objectively responsible about operating a telephone. This is a nonsense statement. Running to the police after you fucking killed some people and are now afraid for your life also isn't really a good measure of responsibility.

This isn't the right fight. It's certainly the white fight, but not the right one.

Lately, I've often been wondering if we're in the early years of a future Civil War. I don't really know how it would work though. It's not like the North Vs South. It's more like neighbor Vs neighbor.

When the country inevitably pulls a Cambodia and starts executing anyone with any level of higher education or interest in learning the answer is "not well." Was either last night or the night before, somebody on stage at the RNC basically issued a rally cry for rejecting education and expertise. Not even specifically liberal/leftist education or expertise. Just the entire concept in general.

She is not alone in that sentiment in this country right now. It's wild.

I've been seeing more and more right-wing people talking like this. They seem to be looking forward to it, and Trump losing might be the start. I can't tell you how many of them are joking that their side will win 100% because they have all the guns.

It would most likely be state by state to some point, but this would be a war that would cripple the US to its core. It is one that won't have a winner, we will all lose, and it is sad to see so many people on my feed talking about it so care free.

My boss has said that he can't wait for the civil war. He thinks it will be a cake walk because liberals hate guns. I asked who is going to be on his team? A bunch of Trumpy people and racists?
