I'm not sure using JigglyJam's post there really helps your position against AoE saying white people have done more damage than anyone else in the past 500 years. It certainly proves A point but not this one.

To illustrate this, I took the Wikipedia link in that post for death tolls by all wars and singled out everything from 1520 to the present. I then separated the wars and conflicts listed by whether or not they began or primarily involved US or European powers. To make sure I was keeping with the sensibilities of the people likely to scrutinize, I did not include any African or Central American Civil Wars which stemmed from white colonization in the "US or European" column. Asian conflicts greatly inflated the death toll as a Civil War in China could break the tens of millions. So therefore this is the final calculation of all deaths by war (global) from 1520-2020 (estimated) divided into white (US or European) or non-white (every other ethnic group). For the sake of this calculation, I did not include Turks as being white, so strictly Ottoman conflicts or Turkish wars against Arab powers went into the non-white column. The final result was:

White: 211,316,840
Non-White: 151,859,836

So over the past 500 years, US and European wars have resulted in ~50,000,000 more deaths than wars by all Arab, Asian, South American, Central American, Indian, and Persian wars combined.

Important to note: This is based solely on the Wikipedia page linked to by JigglyJam. While it takes Spanish wars against Native South and Central Americans into account, it does not include numbers for genocide/ethnic cleansing of Native populations by other European powers in North America, Africa, Asia or Europe. While it does include some of those numbers from other ethnicities (as they are officially considered "wars" I suppose) it is still not a comprehensive list in that regard. So these numbers are strictly warfare-related and don't accurately reflect the total death toll of groups inflicted on others.

I also subtracted 20,000,000 deaths from WWI as those can be accounted to the Spanish Flu.

AOE said white people had caused more harm in the last 500 years than everyone else, Nynja dug up that quote in an attempt to refute it. I am just pointing out that in terms of pure death toll, it doesn't. Anything else you want to extrapolate from that is on you.

Also as I stated I included civil wars/unrest in the "non-white" column even if they stemmed from white colonization to head off the "blaming white people for behavior of minorities" thing.
