it's more an open question to a discussion we're not necessarily having (nor do we really need to but alas). like honestly it becomes tougher to not separate yourself from egregiously heinous actions and yet, what if we could sit with that dissonance?

if protesters were really lynching limp-dicked DAs and Senators should that change the validity of the cause if it was there originally? for most people and probably me too, yeah it probably would. but sitting with the dissonance between 1, that we support oppressed peoples and 2, oppressed peoples have done mega-wrong, is hella uncomfortable and we often do whatever we can to reduce this discomfort
