Wife is unable to get tested for COVID until Sunday because so many people are getting sick and getting tested. She still has a 101F fever. She went to the doctor yesterday and they tested her for everything else but couldn't test her for COVID because they were out of tests. They asked her to try Texas med clinics or Carenow, but they are packed until next week. Thanks Trump

Situations like mine aren't being discussed much either.

Because of my symptoms, they were so set on it being covid that they didn't bother testing for anything else. So I started my treatment for RMSF 10 days after the onset of symptoms. People have died 8 days after symptoms, and still many more have had permanent damage to their organs. Looking good so far as far as how my body is reacting to the doxy (cept for the whole doxy makes me puke part), but it could have been a radically different outcome.

There is no legitimate reason to slow down testing just to make Trump look better. It is a violation of the Hippocratic oath to the point where I don't give a shit how much HC appears to boost Trump even he wouldn't do it.

I mean, testing is really just for epidemiology at this point in non-hospitalized patients. Same as how we stop testing for Influenza once it reaches a high prevalence in the population every year. Again, I am testing everyone that wants a test, but you could argue it's a waste of money for well appearing patients who are going home.
