I was getting PUI, the partial payment for reduced hours already. I just keep doing my weekly certifications and it will automatically kick in the regular unemployment.

Oh, and to clarify, I wasn't on furlough. They axed staff currently working IN ADDITION to all the furloughed employees.

People whose hours were cut but squeaked into getting partial UI + full federal bonus benefited the most.

Partial unemployment, where a worker classified as full time is given part time hours, qualified for full $600 pandemic assistance bonus. Thats what I was doing up until today.

There were other programs where you got more or less though, for various reasons.

If that is true then I need to fight it out with my HR department for messing it up.

If your HR is involved then idk what youre on cause HR wasnt involved for me aside from telling the gov when they called that they furloughed me, then brought me back part time.

There was a similar program for small businesses where the Gov covered lost wages if the person stayed employed at like 70% or something, and if thats what you're on then maybe you don't get the extra money.

But the extra money is handled state side, HR doesn't manage anything so idk whata going on there lol
