And masks are helpful re: transmission. Since we're making fun of my vocab, how I said it here once is that masks somewhat contain your own respirated aerosolized matter. There would be fewer bad bitties beyond one's mask and out in range to be either dispersed by wind or slurped up by ratchet peeps in the clubpool.

Canada sure being a hell of a lot stricter on their occupancy rules while still requiring masks, compared to their neighbours. Granted, 10 people max for a size of that boat is tiny when it's both outdoors, and plenty of distancing space for 20 folks to get around comfortably.
