2.5 hours is nothing. A full work shift... Now THAT sucks. I have 1 more hour on my shift (40 hour week) and my ears (and mind and sandpaper texture hands after washing on the cheapest soap ever dozens of times a day) are fucking done. I'm ready to hermit for the entire weekend not wearing a mask at home.

Also employee at work tested positive. I'm at minimal risk since it's not in my work zone. Still fucking sucks hearing that right before the weekend starts.

there is no restriction on testing whatsoever (in the ED). if i have any suspicion i send the test. even if they're not sick enough to get admitted.

Just stopped in a convenience mart and I was the only person wearing a mask. One guy with glasses pulled them down to give me "the look." Of course it could be because of what my mask looks like.

Not sure if anyone has flown lately, my wife just had a work trip. Flew Burbank to SFO on Southwest, said there 10 people on the plane on the way there and 18 on the way back, the airports were ghost towns, almost all restaurants closed, nobody on the shuttle to the rental cars at SFO, etc

That reminds me, if I ever get enough spare money to afford another contract lens exam, I need to ask about those new fancy corrective shaping contact lenses that exist now. Supposedly you put them on at night, they deform your eyes into shape, and you take them off during the day with 20/20 vision. Takes a week or two to fully work sometimes. Only problem is I think if your vision is too poor they won't prescribe them, and I'm -5.00 in both eyes, which may be pushing it.
