That's the thing though. It's been a neverending cycle of wingers for McDavid for 5 years. On paper Hall, Eberle etc would be point per game players on his line and it wasn't the case. As far as taking literal nobody's and turning them into awesome, that's a Sid thing. (Read: Sheary lol)

So the nod going to Leon for another step forward isn't a surprise. Is Connor the better player? Absolutely. Was he this year? That was Leon's show.

Nobody on the Oilers has gotten 60+pts except McD, Drai and Nuge since he showed up tho (and Nuge was already a 50~pts player). Hell, his first year is the only year any forward on the team even had 40+ pts except those 3.
