Sounds like the Raiders name being thrown out there for the Ngakoue sweepstakes.

since 1981 (superbowl 15 for reference) the nfl has used a stat collecting agency called "sports team analysis and tracking systems" (stats). this agency collects all kinds of advanced metrics on every position on the football field, which does include offensive line. for whatever reason the nfl player association, the nfl, and this data agency have an agreement that the public does not have access to the majority of those stats but they do in fact exist.

    https://www.sun-sentinel.com/news/fl...553-story.html

in the article i linked above you can see that individual sack data is clearly known about for larry allen, richmond webb, mark dixon, tim ruddy, kevin donnalley, and a whole wack of players in the late 80s and early 90s.

we don't have access to those stats (unless you have a football outsiders/pff/next gen stats/etc subscription) but they do in fact exist and they've been around longer then many bgers have been alive

It would be a good move for the Raiders. They have some young studs on defense already.

That's pretty wild. Obviously I had no idea and had always heard pros talk about the fact OL were always overlooked because they didn't have any real stats.

    Thanks

ive been listening to dallas cowboys podcasts for essentially as long as i've had the internet and they tend to reference a lot of advance metrics especially about the offensive line since we're the cowboys and thats what we're known for. its why i know a little bit about the football nerd numbers

Browns CB Kevin Johnson suffers liver laceration when teammate falls on him

Cleveland Browns cornerback Kevin Johnson has been hospitalized after he suffered a laceration to his liver when rookie tight end Harrison Bryant landed on him during practice Wednesday.

Johnson, initially diagnosed with an abdominal injury, is expected to be in the hospital for another day for observation, the team said.

While we have discouraged fans from wearing headdresses for several years, effective immediately, fans will be prohibited from wearing headdresses into the stadium.

Face painting is still allowed for all fans, but any face paint that is styled in a way that references or appropriates American Indian cultures and traditions will be prohibited.

Fans will be asked to remove any American Indian-themed face paint prior to passing security screening outside the stadium.

We are engaged in a thorough review process of the Arrowhead Chop and plan to have additional discussions in the future.

We are exploring all options for a modified engagement moment from the Drum Deck that maintains a unifying effect between our fans and our players but better represents the spiritual significance of the drum in American Indian cultures.

This includes discussions around how to shift the focus of the drum to something that symbolizes the heartbeat of the stadium.

As allowed by NFL guidelines and the City of Kansas City Health Department for the coronavirus-impacted 2020 season, we will continue with many of the traditions that we have introduced over the past six years, including the Blessing of the Four Directions, the Blessing of the Drum, as well as inviting members of tribes with a historic connection to our region to participate in our American Indian Heritage Month Game.

Finally, we are exploring the creation of a more formalized education program with input from both our local and national partners.

Not sure if serious, or mocking PC with the all caps, but I'll respond anyway. This is at least one side of the debate:

I'm not the most informed on this topic, so take this video with a grain of salt, but I thought it was interesting to see the point of view that Indian may be more acceptable (by some).

It was mocking it. Like guys, you're the Chiefs. If you're not going to just rebrand like WSH what's the point of all this stupid shit.

That, and having such a high Indian population here it really confuses my brain when I hear it lol.
