It's fake but still funny though (a horrible fake at that...the tree shadows somehow go thru the wall and the wall has no shadow lol)

So he's firing Pentagon people now too? Dude's gonna launch a nuke on "accident" and then be like "You can't get rid of me during a war!!"
I read a jake tapper tweet that I cant seem to find now that these may be related to pulling out of Afghanistan and these were people that felt the move was "premature" (lol) obviously dont know the validity of all that.
How many of you are taking the coup thing seriously? I seriously doubt anything that dramatic is going to happen.
I think the only reason it isn't going to happen is that Trump isn't smart enough to pull it off.
I think dramatic things have already happened, not a coup but the installation of a lot of Trump loyalists in career positions where they can hobble the next administration.

Aren't they in positions Biden will be able to replace?
I think Trump has faced enough resistance at this point that he has given up. It was quite possibly always a grift for the coin, considering 60% of his legal defense fund donations went to "campaign debt" and 40% went to the RNC.
I think they are just drawing it out to collect that cash at this point.
A full coup? Nah, because he doesn't have the military. He's pissed off enough generals that they would never side with him and you need the military to pull off a proper coup. I do believe however he's going to do a lot of harm still before Jan. Him not giving any briefings to Biden is a pretty significant thing, and not opening funding too. Only other time in history this kind of bullshit has gone down was Hoover to FDR apparently, and in the interim someone actually tried to shoot FDR and only missed due to some lady smacking him, and instead killing the mayor of chicago.
There's not going to be a military coup, Trump is attempting a coup through the courts and it is failing miserably.

All of this is just a distraction from what he's actually doing. He's likely setting things up for his life post-WH, including means to stay the center of attention.
What's the over under he keeps having campaign rallies to try and undermine Biden as well as garner support for 2024?
If he does, I think that's the deathknell for the people who think he only took the Presidency to drum up support for Trump TV
i believe Archibald is making with the funnies as the 'coup' attempt (which is an overthrow of an existing government and so cannot be attempted by a sitting government and so this is not a coup) is a form of coping. coup is just French for blow or strike, the full phrase is coup (strike) d'(of) etat (state).
coup de grâce is, naturally, much the same but grâce (mercy) instead of etat (state). it now does refer to any decisive final strike but once was used to refer to executions and finishing off animals.
oh i'm a dumb, i forgot "coup d' etat" existed
thats what i get for posting before breakfast
Most important meal of the day.
