Trump Signs Law Making Cruelty To Animals A Federal Crime

The Preventing Animal Cruelty and Torture Act (PACT) is a bipartisan initiative that bans the intentional crushing, burning, drowning, suffocating, impalement or other serious harm to "living non-human mammals, birds, reptiles, or amphibians."

The law also bans "animal crush videos," meaning any photograph, motion picture film, video or digital recording or electronic image that depicts animal cruelty.

The penalty for violating the law can include a fine, a prison term of up to seven years or both.

I've read many reports on it. As an example, the media should absolutely focus on the report that his administration is planning contingencies if he loses, destroy ballot voting, and him saying that any result where he isn't the winner is illegitimate, yes. I fully agree that the media should focuse on that. So why focus on the part where the journalist phrased the question badly where he could have very well misinterpreted the question?

My point is, there are so many actual things he's said or done that it's stupid to focus on that one.

People barely even remember what he's done the past week because media is so quick to jump on the latest trend, rather than focus on things that actually matter. Again, that is what they should focus on, not the part where he misunderstood the question and said "We'll see what happens."

Placing focus on a misunderstood question gives credence to his whole "fake news" agenda, which is why media shouldn't focus on "We'll see what happens" and instead focus on the many times he's actually tried to ruin democracy.

Jesus christ. Again, we're saying the exact same thing and is in agreement. What I'm saying is that "We'll see what happens" is what the media focuses on, which is what I'm criticizing. I'm not stuck on it; I'm saying the media takes that out of context and focuses on that one part rather than talking about the other things he's done and said, because it's apparently old news.

Why even mention and focus on that part when the last part of the quote (Any result where I don't win is illegitimate) is much more important. You can completely skip the first part where he says "We'll see what happens" because that's his go-to response for anything when he's thinking, and is in response to a question he misunderstood.
