Nowhere in that response did he say that there won't be a peaceful transition; he said that without the ballots he will surely win -- ergo, no transfer of power because Biden wouldn't win, so transfer of power wouldn't be necessary. That does not equal him refusing to transfer power if he don't win.

With that said, his other actions suggests that he won't step aside, but not that answer in particular.

Which is why the last part of his answer is far more interesting, being "Any result where I win is illegitimate"

Again, for the n:th time, I agree with this. But that has nothing to do with his answer. I don't think that he will step aside gracefully. I think it will be a fucking dumpster fire, but that has nothing to do with his answer.

His other actions suggests that he won't step aside, not the answer to that question. It's important to focus on the right things, otherwise it'll be used as ammunition by the white house or his supporters for their fake news agenda.

I can promise you right now that the white house will state that Trump didn't say he wouldn't step aside, but that he was commenting on voter fraud and that without voter fraud he would win so there wouldn't be a need for transfer of power. Which is what I mean when I say that media focuses on the wrong things.
